The cover and name may invite comparisons to Twilight, but they are unfounded: Stella is no Bella. […]Not your run-of-the-mill zombie book, this title has heart.

Book 1: Chemistry
Its GOOOOOD!
I love love love this book and am now eagerly awaiting the next installment. These characters are fantastic.
Howie is endearing, Stella is fun, and there’s a dog. Things are aways better with a dog. (ha) It’s a clever installment to a genre which has had most things on earth already done to it.
That’s no easy feat.

Highly Entertaining!
Holy Hera! Where do I start with this one?
Chemistry is one of those books that defies categories and expectations. The cover screams Twilight parody, and it is, but at the same time it is something else entirely. It’s unique. It’s unapologetic. It’s zombies and romance and snark with a healthy dose of swearing.
I am positively enamored of Stella Blunt. She’s strong and brilliant but her hard outer shell hides a soft heart you’d never expect. And who better to win that soft heart than a shambling social pariah with the ridiculously sweet name of Howard “Howie” Mullins?

This book had a hold on me
Twice I tried to stop reading this book but I just couldn’t.
I have never read a zombie book before and when I finally figured out that’s what this book was, I wanted to stop. I started a different book, but I just had to come back and find out what was going to happen with Stella and Howie.
How many boys can literally offer you their heart?
Stella Blunt’s World Is Ending
It took her over a decade to stand down the bullies and make some friends. Now her parents are hauling her across the continent to Vancouver, and she’ll have to start all over again in a big city high school.
Tall, curvy, and known more for her snarky comments and kung fu moves than for her social skills, Stella thinks the teens at her new school will eat her alive. She’s almost right.
Howie Mullins is meek, pale, and sometimes forgets to blink. When Stella and her anger management problems blast into his chemistry class, he can’t stop himself from staring.
Can he convince her that he doesn’t just like her for her brains?
When undead start showing up at the door, Stella will have to decide who to trust… and who to attack with a chainsaw.
Readers will laugh out loud and find themselves surprisingly invested in an undead relationship the likes of which YA has never seen before in this plus sized, foul-mouthed, and feminist call-out of Twilight.

Book 2: History
Some Things Can’t Stay In The Past.
Howie Seems Like The Perfect Boyfriend… But There’s A Dark Side To Being Undead.
Outspoken Stella Blunt is back and so is Howie, her zombie boyfriend. They’re deeply in love, but Howie has a terrible secret.
What will Stella do when she discovers the truth?
If you enjoyed Chemistry, you won’t be able to put down this gripping second book of the award-winning Stella Blunt Trilogy.

My blessed God, this woman can write!
This sequel TRANSCENDS the 1st installment! The narrative is spellbinding and the characters are SO rich and deep! I confess I miss Stella’s magnificent snark in this one, but is just shows how true the author is to the development and REALITY of these fantastic characters. I literally laughed out loud at some parts and cried baseball size tears at others.
That’s no easy feat.
New addiction
Oh my God!
Somehow book 2 was even better! I didn’t think it would be possible!
I am addicted to this series.
A gripping and epic follow-up
In addition to getting to know Stella better and watching her grow, History delves into Howie’s perspective and personal history. We also see a lot more of the minor characters from Chemistry, including Stella’s awesomely hilarious parents. C.L. Lynch does a great job of creating a very vivid, compelling world that really pulled me in.
Book 3: Biology
Coming eventually. She promises.
Seriously, she’s taking forever.
Look, we have a book cover ready and everything. It’s not our fault.
In 2018, Ms. Lynch lost her father, her dog, and her father in law in the space of a few months. She’s still paying off the debt she wracked up while flying home for two mourning periods with family, two celebrations of life, and then helping her mother move.
She had the book nearly finished when the pandemic hit, and her finances took an even bigger hit.
We have seen the manuscript and can assure people it really exists, but it’s apparently “not good enough yet” and has “plot gaps”.
She assures us she will get the book out when she can “get my head above water”.
